    Note: These 16" and 24" batts are designed for use between framing members (studs, joists, and rafters) that are 16" or 24" on-center. Please include a note in the comments section if you need a quote that will work with metal studs. Also include a note if some or all of your square footage will be installed edge-to-edge (not between framing members) as this affects coverage.

    Batt Sizes and effective coverage for 16 inch batts:

    R7 : 2.0 inches x 16" inches (on-center) x 4 feet (100+ sf per bag of 20 batts when installed between 16" O.C. framing)
    R13: 3.5 inches x 16" inches (on-center) x 4 feet (90+ sf per bag of 18 batts when installed between 16" O.C. framing)
    R20: 5.5 inches x 16" inches (on-center) x 4 feet (60+ sf per bag of 12 batts when installed between 16" O.C. framing)

    Batt Sizes and effective coverage for 24 inch batts:
    R13: 3.5 inches x 24" inches (on-center) x 4 feet (120sf per bag of 15 batts when installed between 24" O.C. framing)
    R20: 5.5 inches x 24" inches (on-center) x 4 feet (80sf per bag of 10 batts when installed between 24" O.C. framing)
