Coverage per square foot varies depending on type and age of coating(s), number of layers and method of application. One gallon covers approximately 125 square feet on a horizontal surface and approximately 75 square feet on a vertical surface.
Use a plastic drop cloth to protect floors and surrounding areas, and/or landscaping if outdoors. Open windows to maintain ventilation of work area. Test Soy Gel Spray in a small, inconspicuous area before beginning full project. (Concrete surfaces may darken with use.) Apply Soy Gel Spray thickly with a 3 or 4 stage HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) sprayer with a 2.5mm tip/needle, or an industrial airless sprayer with a 519 (.019 inch) or larger tip and a pressure setting of 3,000 PSI or higher. Applying too thinly will cause Soy Gel Spray to dry out before removal is complete. Allow the product to work until the layers of the paint or coating are soft. Remove coatings with a scraper or wet vacuum. Repeat process as necessary.
