The Solar Star Roof Mount 2400 - 35 Watt Attic Fan generates maximum power to battle built-up heat
and moisture in your attic. It’s the ideal solar-powered ventilation solution for large attic spaces
and extreme climates.
Four flashing options, sleek low profile, the pitched roof mount, high profile, and HVHZ high profile
that meets Florida Building Code (FL10884) and HVHZ (FL14826), & Texas Department of Insurance
(RV-57)
Solar Star Attic Fans unite advanced solar technologies with progressive designs to deliver
exceptional power and performance. The result is a ventilation system that efficiently vents heat
and moisture from your attic that, when trapped, can damage your home and drive up energy costs.
Your attic stays cool and dry, giving you greater comfort and prolonging the life of your roof, all
while saving energy and lowering your utility bills.
35 Watt Solar Powered Attic Fan
Control heat and moisture buildup in your attic with Solar Star Attic Fans. Powered by the sun, they
convert your passive vents into an active ventilation system that adds comfort to your home and prevents
roof damage. Best of all, they cost nothing to run.
Summer
Summer means longer days, more sun, and warmer temperatures. If heat isn’t vented from your attic
properly, it builds up and causes problems in your home:
Living spaces become hot and uncomfortable
Air conditioning units work harder to keep rooms cool
Utility costs rise due to increased energy demand
Roof structures and materials deteriorate
A Solar Star Attic Fan solves these problems by removing excess heat, giving you a more
comfortable interior and lower energy bills.
Winter
With winter comes ice, snow, and cold temperatures. When coupled with excess humidity from
showers, humidifiers, and dishwashers, it can lead to:
Leaks and structural decay triggered by ice buildup on your roof
Damage to insulation and framing materials produced by moisture accumulation
Weakening of internal structures caused by mold and fungus growth
A Solar Star Attic Fan prevents these issues by equalizing interior and exterior temperatures,
safeguarding your home from the worst of winter.
Solar Star Roof Mount 2400 / 35 Watt: The Big Boss
Amp up your venting power with our biggest attic fan. The Solar Star RM 2400 features a 35-watt solar
panel that generates maximum energy for greater air movement.
High Profile Roof Mount
This aerodynamic design is perfect for locations with heavy snow loads. Meets Florida Building Code
HVHZ (FL14826) as well as Texas Department of Insurance (RV-57).
Low Profile Roof Mount
This sleek, unobtrusive design is for most pitched roof applications. Meets Florida Building Code
(FL10884) and Texas Department of Insurance (RV-57).
Pitched Roof
A great alternative for north-facing roofs when you need to improve exposure to the sun.
The right profile for the right roof.
Our attractive solar attic fans come in multiple profiles. The High Profile Roof Mount is more of an
aesthetic preference while the Pitched Roof Mount improves exposure to the sun. It especially comes
in handy for north-facing roof applications.
High Profile Roof Mount
This mounting is typically for customers that want their attic fan to sit parallel with their
roofing. Meets Florida Building Code HVHZ (FL14826) as well as Texas Department of Insurance
(RV-57).
Pitched Roof
Our pitched roof flashing is the most popular of all the mounting options due to its ability to
capture a larger volume of sunlight throughout the day.
Tile Roof
Our proprietary designed flashing, integrates seamlessly with the tile roof structure, making
the installation impervious to water.
Maximize motor performance by adding Temperature Controlled Thermal Switch to any attic fan model.
Using a thermal switch, the fan will turn off when it gets cold and turn itself back on when the
temperature gets hot in your attic. The thermal switch activates when temperatures reach
approximately 85° F (29° C) and deactivates when temperatures drop below 65° F (18° C). Can be
installed on all attic fan models.
Solar Attic Fan Optional Add-Ons
Want more out of your venting system? Solar Star add-ons maximize performance to ensure every inch of
your attic is properly vented. More power to you.

Versatile adhesive for multiple types of surfaces - metal, wood, lime/concrete and plastics
I've used Duralink-50 for many years, and we just went through a case of it finishing our owner-built home. It's very versatile and one of the rare adhesives that case affix almost anything.
We just used it to seal/connect metal roofing panels used as ceiling panels, some wood, lime and cement walls, PVC pipes going through said walls, recycled rubber, and a type of poly/nylon facing.
I've also used loads of Chemlink M-1 (which is their tip top product) and am using a bunch of their Buildsecure to affix plywood subfloor. Buildsecure is very low flex - so good for things like plywood subfloor where you don't want it moving/creaking/squeaking.
In contrast, Duralink-50 is very flexible (hence the 50) and stretches beautifully. So it's useful where you require flex. Our windows edges on the outside of our metal building are sealed with Duralink-50, and are still holding up without cracking 5 years later (in Southern AZ, so that says something).
I love the stuff and the way the smell disappears quite rapidly. I use Chemlink because I don't want to use products with cancer warnings on them! Low VOC only means a product doesn't offgas much - it doesn't mean the ingredients are good. Chemlink products are safe, and they are LEED certified as well (in case you require that for a project).

Prompt delivery. Great staff about to complete my order in a tight deadline. Would gladly use them again when being this product
This was such an easy order and install with a reasonable price. I ordered and the product arrived in 2 days. The install was exact to measurements with no need for another pair of hands. I only wish they offered a few trim options to match what is installed in the house.
