Cling On – Bent Handle

$18.50

Some spots simply refuse to cooperate. The Cling On bent handle brush has a long handle with a built-in bend that slips inside hutches and under chair arms. That reach puts Milk Paint and other water-based finishes where a straight brush can't go. Learn more about each size below.

More About Cling On Bent Handle Brushes

Every painter knows the frustration of a surface that a regular brush can't touch. Think of the inside of a hutch or the underside of a chair arm. The Cling On bent handle brush exists for exactly those places.

A long, slender handle counterbalances the brush, and the built-in bend angles the filaments toward the work. You get steady control in positions that would otherwise feel awkward. That makes it a favorite for horizontal spindles, angled joints, and the interior of cupboards.

Each brush is handmade in Holland and designed by a professional painter. Soft DuPont synthetic filaments are fully locked in epoxy cement to minimize shedding. A stainless-steel ferrule resists rust, and a solid beech wood handle adds comfort and durability.

The filaments carry a special dye coating and are built to keep "wet feet." Keep them damp from the first use, between coats, and in storage. They stay stiff in water and hold their original shape, which supports a brush-mark-free finish with Milk Paint and other waterborne products.

Here at Eco Building Products, we offer the Cling On bent handle brush in three distinct sizes. The manufacturer notes that choosing among them comes down to preference. Painters who normally use larger brushes will usually gravitate toward the larger angled size.

  • P-16 Small, 1/2". This slim profile slips into the narrowest gaps. Choose it for tight corners and angled joints. It also suits fine furniture details and the edges inside drawers.
  • P-20 Medium, 3/4". This all-rounder is wide enough to cover ground and slim enough to reach inside cabinets. It handles hutches and chair undersides with confidence. Pick this one first if you only want a single bent brush.
  • P-24 Large, 1". The widest bent brush holds more paint per dip. Use it on the underside of a dresser top or the inside of a cupboard, where hidden surfaces take more coverage. It saves time when the tight spot also happens to be a large one.

After painting, rinse the brush well and reshape the filaments. Store it with the tips in water.
