Installation Notes
- Make sure bulb wattage does not exceed the fixture manufacturer's limit
- Center Light Cover on the light fixture
- May be neatly cut to fit around wires, fixtures, and joists, where necessary
- Bottoms need to be flush with the attic floor surface
- Some installers seal or stick the Light Covers down with a foam caulk (if so, let set before installing insulation) - Or, hold them down flush to the attic floor surface and install insulation around and over the Cap.

Simply center the cover over the light fixture, trim excess cover material where necessary due to electrical wiring or joist protrusions, then press the trimmed portion flush to the underside of the attic floor. Optional, although recommended for an air-tight connection, is to apply foam caulk along the bottom edge of the cover and press it into position. Alternatively, installers may choose not to use caulk and merely press the cover flush to the attic floor with their hands, allowing them to proceed with additional attic insulation immediately after installation.
