Forbo Bulletin Board: Natural Cork Bulletin Board Material
Forbo bulletin board is a premium cork bulletin board material made from natural, renewable ingredients including oxidized linseed oil, finely ground cork, and rosin binders on a jute backing. This durable bulletin board cork board surface is designed for pin boards, notice boards, and wall panels anywhere ideas and information are shared—schools, offices, healthcare, and home workspaces. Unlike many inexpensive bulletin boards that crumble or shed, Forbo bulletin board cork delivers long-lasting performance with excellent pinhole recovery and a soft, tactile feel.
Cork Bulletin Board Material with Self-Healing Performance
Forbo bulletin board cork is engineered as a self healing cork board that “closes up” after pins, tacks, and staples are removed, maintaining a smooth surface over years of heavy use. This makes it ideal for a bulletin board large installation, a pin board big planning wall, or a compact forbo tackboard panel in classrooms and meeting rooms. The dense cork bulletin board material retains its grip and does not crumble like traditional soft boards, so your forbo cork board continues to look clean and professional even with constant posting and rearranging.
Colored Cork Bulletin Boards for Flexible Design
Create colored cork bulletin boards that complement any interior with Forbo bulletin board’s rich, through-body color palette. Whether you want a neutral bulletin board cork board, a black cork bulletin board accent, a blue cork board feature, or a playful mix of colored cork bulletin board panels, the color runs through the material to help hide wear and pin marks. Designers can easily integrate forbo bulletin board cork as framed boards, full-height wall panels, or furniture insets to add both function and visual interest to collaborative spaces.
Forbo Tackboard Rolls and Large Bulletin Board Walls
Supplied in roll form and sold by the square yard, Forbo bulletin board functions much like bulletin board cork rolls or a flexible bulletin board roll that can be cut to any length up to the manufacturer’s maximum. This makes it easy to create a bulletin board large enough for project walls, studios, conference rooms, or libraries using continuous sheets of forbo bulletin board cork. Fabricators and millworkers can trim and adhere this forbo tackboard material to most stable substrates, achieving custom pin board big installations without the seams and limitations of standard, pre-framed boards.
Sustainable, Inexpensive Bulletin Boards at the Best Price
Because Forbo bulletin board is made from rapidly renewable raw materials and contains no plasticizers or harmful additives, it supports healthy indoor air quality and green building goals. Its exceptional durability and self-healing performance mean fewer replacements than typical inexpensive bulletin boards, delivering bulletin board best price value over the long term. When you factor in lifespan, performance, and sustainability, Forbo cork board solutions offer some of the lowest price bulletin board options for high-performance, eco-conscious projects seeking the bulletin board lowest price without sacrificing quality
Lots of people ask the simple question, What is Marmoleum anyway?
First of all, it is a four syllable word that is slang for marbleized linoleum. Made from linseed or flaxseed oil, natural pigments, limestone dust, wood fibers and resins and then pressed onto a jute backing it is a great alternative to vinyl flooring. People who are sensitive to plastics and their off-gassing like it because it is not pvc or rubber and contains no acrylics. It also doesn’t require the use of volatile adhesives or contact cements to install it.
I ordered samples of Marmoleum and I heard that the color will be very different when the product arrives to be installed?
There is definitely some truth there since all natural linoleum flooring that was made with flaxseed oil has a natural amber hue to it when it is first made. When exposed to sunlight it’s color changes and it loses much of its amber hue. For instance, many of the blue colors will look green initially and when the amber-yellow cast fades they become the true blue color of the samples. A lot of folks get totally freaked out by this but it is not necessary to get crazy and the color will definitely change over time.
How long does Marmoleum last?
Some floors have lasted 35 years and are still in good condition. Forbo offers a full 25 year warranty on normal wear and tear

Is Marmoleum easy to clean and will it hold up when if chemicals are spilled?
Forbo Marmoleum products are subject to indicative chemical/stain testing in accordance with European standards. The tests provide baseline information on the effects of short term exposure to chemicals after cleaning and should be used as a comparative guide.
If specific chemicals are of particular concern we would advise that the effects are checked by the client on a sample of the proposed colour and material in conditions representative of those that will be experienced in service.
Is your Bulletin Board paintable?
Yes. We would suggest using a water based emulsion paint, but would advise testing the application first for adhesion on a small sample of material. However, as the paint is going to be less flexible than the Bulletin Board, marks may remain visible in the paint layer.
Forbo makes so many awesome linoleum flooring products, how can I ever settle on just one?
Marmoleum Click: is the snap lock floating flooring that is perfect for any DIY installer with basic skills.
MCT Tile: is the thin linoleum tiles that just about anyone who has put down any tiles can manage.
Sheet Marmoleum: is the glue-down heavy duty linoleum that we have all come to love for the last 150 years.
The best part is that no matter what you select and for what specific application, they will all hold up well because virtually all their product’s surfaces are now coated with the revolutionary TopShield II finish.
Forbo L910W Wall Adhesive is a solvent-free acrylic polymer adhesive recommended for use with Bulletin Board and Marmoleum direct wall applications.

Easy Cost Affective Air Flow Sealing
I’m increasing the depth of the attic insulation. I needed a way to seal against air flow around the fourteen ceiling recessed can light fixtures. I found these online and decided to purchase them rather than try and fabricate something on my own.
Ordering was easy and they arrived quickly and intact. They are well constructed and air tight.
I was able to make cuts where necessary to have the covers sit flush with the sheet rock. I used Great Stuff sealing foam to attach and seal around the covers. I allowed a day for the foam to set, the covers are securely attached and seal around the light fixtures.
The cost, quality and convenience of these covers made this job much easier than trying to fabricate a cover on my own. I highly recommend them!

Versatile adhesive for multiple types of surfaces - metal, wood, lime/concrete and plastics
I've used Duralink-50 for many years, and we just went through a case of it finishing our owner-built home. It's very versatile and one of the rare adhesives that case affix almost anything.
We just used it to seal/connect metal roofing panels used as ceiling panels, some wood, lime and cement walls, PVC pipes going through said walls, recycled rubber, and a type of poly/nylon facing.
I've also used loads of Chemlink M-1 (which is their tip top product) and am using a bunch of their Buildsecure to affix plywood subfloor. Buildsecure is very low flex - so good for things like plywood subfloor where you don't want it moving/creaking/squeaking.
In contrast, Duralink-50 is very flexible (hence the 50) and stretches beautifully. So it's useful where you require flex. Our windows edges on the outside of our metal building are sealed with Duralink-50, and are still holding up without cracking 5 years later (in Southern AZ, so that says something).
I love the stuff and the way the smell disappears quite rapidly. I use Chemlink because I don't want to use products with cancer warnings on them! Low VOC only means a product doesn't offgas much - it doesn't mean the ingredients are good. Chemlink products are safe, and they are LEED certified as well (in case you require that for a project).

This was such an easy order and install with a reasonable price. I ordered and the product arrived in 2 days. The install was exact to measurements with no need for another pair of hands. I only wish they offered a few trim options to match what is installed in the house.
