Shenandoah Reclaimed Hardwood Flooring

Our Shenandoah Blend: A diverse blend of reclaimed woods, this floor makes for a very interesting talking point.  It is milled from a mix of Ash, Birch, Beech, Elm, Hickory, Maple, Oak, Locust, Cherry, and Walnut.  Sometimes when you salvage a barn or whole warehouse, you will discover one of these beams mixed among Oak or Heart Pine timbers.   Since most of these species aren’t available all by themselves, they work great for an organic mix where anything  goes.  We offer this material in milled and distressed grades.

When milling this floor, Shanenandoah takes the utmost care to preserve the weathered patina and characteristics left in the original face of the  barn siding or structural material. Expect to see colorful heartwood, large knots, nail holes, dents and dings, and of course the rich patina in our  flooring.  This distressed grade features nail holes, rough saw kerf, dents and dings, and a wonderful palette of reds and browns give this floor a look unlike any other. This floor is a great way to add an authentic touch to any home.

Additional Product Information

Due to the nature of how this reclaimed wood flooring is made, colors and appearance will vary from one order to the next and from one board to the next.  Also note that the image shown has had a non-tinted finish applied to the product, increasing the gloss and accenting the patina.  If you would like a sample we can ship it to you for a nominal fee of $25 - but keep in mind the variability of this beautiful reclaimed wood flooring product!

Only problem is I couldn’t see a colour. Sample for dark roast medium roast or espresso and that’s in the range I needed so it would’ve been nice to have seen it.
