AFM Safecoat Almighty Adhesive is a solvent-free, environmentally safe, non-toxic, high-performance construction adhesive for use in a wide variety of applications. This non-toxic, low-VOC adhesive does not off-gas and has almost no odor, so is safe for use in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces. It exceeds all VOC and environmental regulations. Almighty Adhesive provides 500 PSI shear strength, more than enough grip for most applications.
USE ON:
Wood and metal frame construction interior and exterior paneling, drywall, and gypsum board. Bonds cove base, tub surrounds, and fiberglass.
Works on landscape blocks, concrete, masonry, ceramic tile, and ceiling tile. Excellent for decorative brick and stone, wood decking, and sub-floor Installation.
LIMITATIONS:Safecoat adhesives are made without formaldehyde preservatives. Do not contaminate. Store in airtight containers. Do not use when indoor temperature is below 55 degrees F. Do not freeze. Thick application, high humidity, or conditions other than normal will cause the adhesive to dry and cure more slowly.
SURFACE PREPARATION:Surface must be completely dry and stable prior to application. Remove all dirt, dust, oils, grease, wax, dried out fillers, powdery residue and other foreign materials. Use alcohol to clean surfaces if necessary.
APPLICATION:Apply beads of adhesive to clean bonding surfaces using a standard caulking gun and assembly, making sure bonded materials are tightly joined. Use mechanical fasteners as needed to fixture materials, or as specified by code. Keep tube closed and tip covered when not in use.
COVERAGE:10.1 oz. tube covers approximately 25 linear feet at .25” thickness.
CLEAN-UP:Clean tools and equipment while they are still wet with a warm soapy water solution. Dried material may require alcohol for cleaning.
DRYING/CURING TIME:Allow 24 hours for a full cure.
HEALTH PRECAUTIONS:As with all coatings and sealers, keep the container tightly closed and out of the reach of children.
Do not take it internally. Keep from freezing. Always use adequate ventilation.
