Vermont Natural Coatings Neptune Wood Floor Stain with PolyWhey® combines the power of natural whey protein with new resin technology to create a professional-grade stain that is easy to use and environmentally safe. Multiple color choices to enhance the natural beauty of your wood floors. Recommended for all residential and commercial interior wood floors. A neutral odor, smooth and uniform coverage, quick drying time, easy cleanup and long life makes Neptune a preferred, environmentally friendly stain. Available in 8 beautiful colors. The colors are a semi-transparent floor stain that provides tone without overpowering the grain of the wood. Ideal for most indoor wood floors. Finish with your choice of Vermont Natural Coatings Floor Finish.

APPLICATION:
1) Stir and/or shake material thoroughly before use. If water popping floor prior to staining, wait until the floor is fully dried before applying Neptune wood stain.
2) Apply Neptune with the grain of the wood at coverage rate of approximately 700-800 sq. feet per gallon.
3) Allow Neptune to penetrate for 6-8 minutes then remove any excess with a soft clean cloth or buffing with non abrasive material. When a Vermont Natural Coatings floor finish is applied as the top coat, the color will shift back to its original tone.
4) Allow 8 hours of normal drying conditions before top coating with Vermont Natural Coatings top coats. Roller application is preferred, t-bar can be used.
5) After 2 coats of finish have been applied, lightly sand to knock down any grain raise. Apply final coat of your choice of Vermont Natural Coatings floor finish.
RECOMMENDED APPLICATION SYSTEM: For most applications, 1 coat of PolyWhey® Neptune Wood Floor Stain directly on bare wood is recommended, then top coat with 3 coats of your chosen Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey floor finish.
