Rubio Monocoat Smoke is a tannin-reactive product that is used on oak wood. It replicates the smoked look of wood without causing any toxic fumes or vapors.

This product is a pre-treatment and does not protect the wood. It has to be combined with Rubio Monocoat finishing products for protection.

1. Sand the surface to 120/industry guidelines
2. Vacuum the surface
3. Shake Smoke well
4. Apply Smoke to the surface using an applicator pad or pump sprayer.
5. Be sure to keep a wet edge and apply enough product to ensure even coverage. Do not oversaturate the surface.
6. After 36 hours, neutralize using a rag damp with water.
7. Allow the surface to dry completely.
