ChemLink DuraGlaze Plus Sealant
Chemlink DuraGlaze Plus Sealant is a premium grade, extremely elastic, high-performance, moisture-cure
sealant designed for use in fenestrations (perimeter sealing windows, doors and panels), curtain wall
construction and joints subject to movement. With an extended “tack-free” time in elevated temperatures,
Chemlink DuraGlaze Plus Sealant is an ideal product for any project. Chemlink DuraGlaze Plus Sealant
adheres to “difficult to bond surfaces” and is suitable for use on anodized metal and coatings such as
Kynar 500® PVDF. DuraGlaze Plus has a unique polyether chemistry which eliminates any possibility of
out-gassing and protects against “sun tanning” or discoloration when exposed to ultraviolet light.

Limitations
In areas where prolonged chemical exposure is anticipated, contact Technical Services for
recommendations. Allow treated wood to “cure” for six months prior to application per APA guidelines. Do
not use in areas subject to continuous immersion. Do not store in elevated temperatures. Remove all
coatings and sealers before application. If product is to be painted, test and evaluate before
application. Polyurethane and oil-based paints may dry slowly. Please contact customer service for
application guidelines with temperatures below 32°F (0°C).
Bonding surfaces should be clean, dry and free from all contamination that may inhibit the sealant’s
performance. Isopropyl alcohol is an effective cleaner for surface preparation. Install all joint
applications per ASTM and SWRI recommendations and guidelines. Please contact customer service for
application guidelines for temperatures below 32 degrees F (0 degrees C). Maintain sealant at room
temperature before application to ensure adequate tooling and adhesion. This product sets rapidly
upon exposure to moisture.
