An ultra-low VOC (<30 g/L) exterior pre-treatment for new or bare softwood that penetrates deeply to protect lignin, enhance UV resistance, and extend topcoat life.

Made in the USA by Vermont Natural Coatings, built on Böhme’s 150 years of Swiss formulation expertise.

It penetrates deeply, protects lignin, ensures a uniform look, and increases the longevity of subsequent topcoats.

Ideal for pre-treatment of new or bare exterior softwoods, especially whitewoods.

It’s not a standalone product—topcoats like Ligno, BoMol, or Terra Plus must be applied for full protection.

Covers approximately 300–400 sq ft per gallon, depending on porosity.

Apply with a brush, roller, paint pad, or sprayer. Maintain a wet edge; follow rolling with a brush for even finish.

Apply one coat on all sides of the wood for proper penetration and protection.

Apply when temperatures are between 45–80 °F and humidity is 40–60%. Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours.

Touch-dry in 4–6 hours; ready for topcoat application around that time. Full cure within one week.

Features a neutral odor.

Pot life is 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored unopened between 40–90 °F.
