Back to the Basics: Pro Series Continues with Focus on Solar Thermal Energy
With an increase in demand for energy efficient products, it has never been a better time to break into the green building market with a proven and earth-friendly environmental upgrade to conventional building materials. Working with LEED accredited professionals, Eco-Building Products has utilized years of experience building to the highest standards to test its products and systems. June’s workshop encourages the summer sun to shine in, with a focus on the solar thermal energy systems manufactured by BTF (Back to the Future) Solar.
On Monday and Tuesday, June 28th and 29th, Richard Orawiec, a master mechanical contractor, will be in Frankfort, Mich. conducting an installation workshop. The owner of BTF Solar, Orawiec is the designer and manufacturer of northern Michigan’s best performing northern climate solar thermal collector, the SP-20. The system to be installed during the workshop will produce hot water for domestic consumption, but will also be used to heat the home using radiant-in-floor technology.
This free product training will give contractors and professionals a competitive advantage over others in their industry by broadening knowledge of earth friendly energy systems and offering them a viable alternative to their interested customers. Knowledge of how the system works, how to install it and how to sell it, along with featured tax incentives add value to a contractor’s customer relationship. The return on investment has never been better than today. The workshops will begin at 9 a.m. and continue throughout most of the day both Monday and Tuesday. A complimentary lunch will be served from noon to 1 p.m. each day.
Owner Richard Orawiec began his Michigan corporation in 1988, witnessing deep downturns and upturns in solar interest over the years. He recognizes the opportunity to provide solar energy to the general public as a financially practical alternative to conventional energy systems in the midst of uncertain high energy prices and forthcoming purchasing incentives such as carbon credits, Federal Income Tax credeits, Energy Star Rebates and numerous grants.
“Solar thermal is so underutilized despite being a technology that has been proven now for more than 50 years,” said Orawiec. But this trend is bound to change. “It’s a good time to learn a solar trade.”
To participate and learn more about BTF Solar energy systems, join Orawiec at the residence at 823 James St. in Frankfort, Mich. on June 28th and 29th, stay for a few hours, and learn what BTF Solar and other earth friendly energy and product alternatives can do for your business.
