SHIPPING

General Shipping: Calculated shipping prices are for UPS, though we reserve the right to select a more efficient or expedient alternative. If you require or desire a specific shipper, please contact us to make arrangements – any differences in shipping fees can be accounted for when the order is processed.

Next Day or Second Day Air:

We can not guarantee that your order will be shipped out the same day that it was received, if it is received after 1:00pm EST from our website. In fact, we can not guarantee that any order will be shipped out the same day that it was received but very frequently it is. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

Website shipping rates are for orders within the continental United States. Please contact us for international and specialty rates. Shipping rates are considered Residential Delivery. Please contact us for Commercial Delivery rates.

Shipping Schedule: In-stock products will ship within one to three business days. Out-of-stock items will be shipped only after we are able to restock them, so we will notify you if the item will be back-ordered for more than a two week period. Items that are drop shipped may take longer as we cannot guarantee manufacturer ship times. Tinted paints and other special orders may take additional time to prepare the product for shipping. Common carriers DO NOT guarantee their shipping schedules and Eco-Building Products takes no liability from late delivery of packages.
Items up to 150 pounds: will ship via UPS unless otherwise directed. UPS offers us the best shipping prices for our products, allowing us to offer our customers and clients better prices.
Items more than 150 pounds: larger orders will via the least expensive method unless time is a concern. Please contact us if you have specific directions. Freight delivery is often curbside. Drivers will not carry product into the home or business.

Accepting Deliveries: DO NOT sign the bill of lading until packages have been properly inspected. If damage has incurred you must note it upon the bill of lading otherwise you waive your rights to collection. If substantial damage has occurred, consider rejecting the delivery and contact us immediately.

ORDERING AND PRICING

Pricing Policy: Errors may occur in website pricing. We reserve the right to correct these errors even after a product has been shipped. We will notify you of any price corrections and allow you to cancel the order.

Cancellation Policy: We will make an honest effort to cancel your order without cost to you. However, if your credit card has been charged and the product has not yet shipped, you may receive a charge of 4 percent of the order cost. If you order has shipped, we cannot cancel the order and you will have to use our return policy. The sooner you attempt to cancel your order the more likely we can accommodate this request.

Substitution Policy: If an item is out of stock we will NOT substitute an equivalent product. We will contact you to determine if the product will be shipped when it is in stock, or if you would like the order to be substituted with another product, or whether the order will be canceled.

Orders by Check or Money Order: Please call us for direct ordering. We will ship the product upon receipt of payment.

Packaging material and recycled shipping products: We do not purchase Styrofoam packing materials, but we do reuse these materials when we receive them. We purchase only starch-based packaging materials that are biodegradable. Slightly used boxes may also be utilized.

IMPORTANT SALES TAX INFORMATION

We do not collect sales or use taxes in all states. For states imposing sales or use taxes, your purchase is subject to use tax unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. Your purchase is not exempt merely because it is made over the Internet or by other remote means. Many states require purchasers to file a sales/use tax return at the end of the year reporting all of the taxable purchases that were not taxed and to pay tax on those purchases. Details of how to file these returns may be found at the websites of your respective taxing authorities.

RETURNS, REPLACEMENTS AND REFUNDS

Returns: All returns must be received within 30 days upon receipt of the products to be eligible for a refund. Merchandise must be in saleable condition. Please contact us before returning an item for specific instructions.

Customer arranges and pays for all return shipping. Returns received damaged, or not in compliance with the instructions above will not be accepted.

Replacements: We will be happy to ship new items if the product is defective, if the product has been damaged during shipping, or if the wrong item was shipped. We will refund you in full if we cannot replace the product.

Refunds: If you wish to return a product for refund, we have a 25% restocking fee, thus we can refund 75% of the material cost (shipping not refundable). Please note that all flooring materials, structural materials, renewable energy systems and any products with customization are non-refundable unless damaged or defective.

PRIVACY POLICY

We do not sell, rent, loan, share, or otherwise use your personal information with any third parties except to ship and deliver your product.

Email addresses provided for the newsletter are used only in association with Eco-Building Products’ news and promotions. They are not shared with any third parties.
