It dries to a hard finish that provides excellent protection, and one application is often all you need. Use it over porous surfaces such as milk paint or unfinished wood. Generally, a pint covers approximately 125–250 sq. ft. on porous surfaces and 250–450 sq. ft. on newer, relatively non-porous surfaces. Test patches are recommended.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eInstructions\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStir or shake before use. Pour into a separate container to prevent contamination. Clean the surface of loose paint and dust. Apply full strength with a brush using long, even strokes, working the Oil Wax into the paint. Do not allow the product to puddle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAllow the Oil Wax to penetrate for 15–20 minutes, then wipe off with a clean, lint-free towel. Follow with another clean towel to remove excess product and ensure an even finish.
