American Clay Marittimo Oyster Bay Clay Natural Earth Plaster
Marittimo Natural Earth Plaster is the strongest of the American Clay Plasters. Marittimo goes over a base coat of Loma, and is applied just as easily. Marittimo draws its beauty and charm from the Mediterranean villages of Morocco and from the playfulness and color of the Caribbean islands. Crushed shell aggregate gives it strength. When reworked with a Lexan trowel, Marittimo imparts a glow unequaled in the world of plaster. It can be applied with a trowel or sprayed on.
Mediterranean & Caribbean Finishes
Inspired by the Mediterranean and Caribbean finishes, Marittimo brings the ocean’s tranquility into your home. The sea shell aggregate gives a magnificent, subtle speckle to Marittimo, adding depth to your walls. This plaster feels like it has been polished with warm beeswax and it wonderful to touch. Somewhat reminiscent of the ancient shell terrazzo floors of Italy & Egypt, Marittimo brings a soft patina that envelops a room with exquisite beauty. The same pigments used in Loma and Porcelina will appear a shade darker or grayer in Marittimo.
